Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a dead pixel and a stuck pixel?

A dead pixel is completely dark/black because it receives no power. A stuck pixel is stuck on a specific color (red, green, or blue) regardless of what the screen displays.

How do I fix a dead pixel?

Dead pixels (permanently unpowered) usually cannot be fixed digitally, but stuck pixels (subpixel transistors frozen on) can often be unstuck using our Stuck Pixel Fixer tool.
